Training this week will include the following skills:
- Establishing a marker word - Nyx is being trained with 'good'
- Improving name recognition.
- Socializing with a collar touch so a stranger can reach for her collar without incident.
- Sit on the side.
- Come front and sit.
- Stand for inspection/foot cleaning
- Down from a stand.
- Step back to get into position for any of the above behaviors.
Nyx is being trained right now with hot lures and positive reinforcement. Here is some video from her first week on the 'job'.
